JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direct supervision of the League Convener for all Oakville Recreational Leagues, the timekeeper will control the score clock and monitor the game activity.
Key Task and Responsibilities:
- Monitor the games and record all statistical information. This Includes but not limited to:
- Goals/Assists
- Points
- Penalties
- Game Misconducts
- Final Score
- Control the score clock
- Make sure that the referees and players sign the game sheet
- Return all game sheet information to the League Convener
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Knowledge of hockey, basketball, volleyball and/or pickleball rules and leagues.
- Previous Timekeeping experience an asset
- Experience in customer service an asset
- Data Entry and Processing skills
Time Requirements:
- 3 – 4 hours a shift
- Shifts available Monday - Sat
- Commitment of 24 weeks
- Available to work evenings
