Southside Tap & Grill Seeks Beach Volleyball Referee near Chatham-Kent, ON

Southside Athletic Centre is hiring Referees for our Summer Beach Volleyball League. This is a great opportunity to work while having summer fun!

Applicants must have sports knowledge and/or experience of the sport. We are looking for dependable employees that are available MONDAY-THURSDAY 5:30PM-9:30PM (approx.).

The League runs from May 16th-August 25th with the end of year celebration being on August 28th.

Applicants for this postition must be at least 15 years old.

Job Responsibilities:

• Making sure courts are properly setup in the evening prior to teams beginning to play.
• Officiate games throughout the evening.
• Reporting any issues to the Manager on duty
• Keeping record of team scors and calculating team points for your designated court on a nightly basis.
• Putting away volleyball equipment at the shift's end.
• Making sure teams know where they're playing and keeping games running on time. Providing assistance to any Supervisors or Managers.
• Making sure teams act with proper behavior (report any foul play, language etc. to facility Supervisors and/or Managers) as well as clean their respective sidelines.
• Follow any facility specific rules.

Job Type: Seasonal
Contract length: 4 months

Salary: $15.00 per hour
