    North Pole Hoops is a multi-layered pathway targeted to student athletes starting at 10 years old guiding them all the way to the professional level. As a Canadian basketball media and recruitment organization, our platform scouts, markets and provides exposure through showcases and camps for the student athletes. Our goal is to develop, track progress, and provide suitable opportunities for young student athletes, in helping them get to the next level in the sport. We help them acquire scholarships to continue their education and play basketball at the NCAA or Canadian University level. and to ultimately maximize the potential and continue to grow Canadian basketball. Our scouting service is the only NCAA certified service in Canada.

    SPRING 2022 SHOWCASE LEAGUE REP CIRCUIT LEAGUES

    From April to July 2022, North Pole Hoops will be running their spring showcase league out of their very own facility - The Playground in Burlington, ON. We are looking for all event staff with experience related to everything basketball who are available for most or all of the tournament weekends. Volunteer / community service hours are available upon request. The league will run every weekend (Friday evenings, Saturdays, Sundays) from May 20th to July 10th. Candidates must have weekend availability (Fri evening to Sunday).

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
    • Verify team names, player names and jersey number at the start of each game.
    • Record each point made, either through a scored point or penalty point.
    • Record player fouls and team fouls, assists and rebounds.
    • Keep track of and adjust team scores on score clock in accordance with the official's decision.
    • Keep track of game time and possession arrow on score clock.
    • Communication with the referees at all times.
    • Communicate any problems, concerns, safety issues to assigned game lead
    • Set up and take down of equipment
    • Cleaning/encouraging team to clean garbage between games.
    • NOTE: Scorekeeping experience preferred.
    • PAY: $15 / game
