Montreal Flag Football League Seeks Flag Football Referee near Montreal, PQ

The Montreal Flag Football League is looking for football referees interested in working games on Saturdays and/or Sundays. Please note that this is not soccer!

We collect availability from our referees and assign schedules every week, so you are able to work whenever you want and are free to skip weekends that you're unavailable.

The pay is $30 per game, but games last about 1 hour and 15 minutes, so the salary is listed as $25 per hour.

We play in Pointe St Charles and Verdun on Saturday and in Brossard on Sunday.

Our league demands respect towards other players and officials and generally it is a relatively calm atmosphere to work in, though the ability to maintain authority and control is an important quality for referees to have.

It is a major asset if you have past experience in football refereeing, football in general, or refereeing in other sports. You must have knowledge of American football and the rules of the game.

If you're interested we can bring you in to train and try you out for a game (paid) to determine if you are a suitable candidate to add to our list of officials.
