City of Minnetonka Seeks Kickball Umpires near Minnetonka, MN

This position umpires kickball games for adult co-rec leagues.  Games are held on Wednesday and/or Thursday evenings from 6-10 p.m. at Central Park in Hopkins. Summer games are played from mid-May to early August. Fall games are played from mid-August through October.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Umpire adult kickball games
• Provide quality customer service before, during and after league games
• Maintain control of a game and surroundings (participants, fans, etc.)
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times
• Make on-site decisions regarding weather cancelations if needed

Qualifications

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• A commitment to and belief in the organization's shared values
• Knowledge of kickball rules and/or playing experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Desired:

• Experience as a kickball umpire
• Knowledge of the game and rules through playing experience and umpiring experience
